(They link to a post I wrote last year about How to Eat Fried Worms.)
I usually post about a book for each day of Banned/Challenged Book Week (for the past two years I have anyway), but I realized that the same ones keep getting chosen, and I was running out of books to post about.
To celebrate/commemorate the week, why don’t you read (or re-read) a Judy Blume book? She is annually the most frequently challenged author in the nation.
Update: Okay, I’ve done something for the past three years.
- In the Night Kitchen
- A Wrinkle in Time
- Bridge to Terabithia
- A Light in the Attic
- The Handmaid’s Tale
